Problem 1: have an issue with a ktag clone, it identifies ECU ME7.1.1 vag HWI (P48)  as the wrong ECU BOSCH ME7.5 VAG HW I (P48).

Now obviously I know its an ME7.1.1 because it says so on the cover and the lay out of board matches the photo on ktag.

Problem 2:  I closed the program and reopened it and then all my vag protocols went to being grey …

Working Solution:

Buy a quality micro sd card and do the update.

Where to get the quality micro sd card?

There is a TF card on the motherboard of KTAG Clone, if your Ktag is from uobdii.com and the TF card is broken, please directly contact for a new one.

How to do the update?

  1. Firstly, download the link for SD Card files for kess/ktag:

https://mega.nz/file/H4MCBLRS#VT2Yiek1LlbaqUl4hY6A8JIL7L2VaHxKPu6CGano90M

or from this link:

  1. Easy way to update:

Just format sd to fat32 put into device, move files into update folder ((C:/Program Files/Ksuite223/Update/) of ksuite and run Ksuite.

For Ktag you need power supply connected!

You don”t have to change CID. Any sd card you use will work fine. Tested by my self
