Toyota Prius 2005 KM reading & writing, digiprog has problem, orange 5 ,Carprog, digimaster 3 are all ok, go on reading for instruction.

1. digiprog 3: Failed

Using soldering points as it is showing in manual. After reading I got wrong mileage 1114095km…original mileage is 275 000km. but after writing that km which you need, dash shows everything ok in car.

2.orange 5 programmer + nyo : success

I read it with orange 5 programmer without any problems. Calculated with nyo, as landruiser 93c66. Attached 100% working pinout reading in circuit, maybe someone would be useful this post in the future

3.Carprog full firmware V8.21 : success

Carprog is ok for tis dash–prius 93c66

Change KM Toyota Prius 2006 93C66 for example:

Remove unit from car. Open it and find internal 93C66 EEPROM memory inside.

Use the Carprog A4, A5 or A6(due to situation) EEPROM adapter and change mileage.

In most cases need to remove EEPROM from the board.

Select Dashboard->Toyota->Prius->Prius Yazakj 93C66 v0.4

Manually enter mileage you desired

Press Write KM

Write KM success.

4.Yanhua digimaster 3 : success

I recommend Yanhua digimaster 3, it works for Prius 93c66.

Method: it needs to dismantle the dashboard and read the data.

JMD Handy Baby (now Handy Baby 2) is a must have! At the moment it is the best handheld cloner, what you can get. With the JMD key expansion it can save you with ease when you have to deal with VWs – even in AKL situations. It is not a wonder weapon, in practice it needs time for calculations (sometimes 45 mins), but in the meantime you can cut the key, also. Never tried with G-chips, so I can just tell ya that it is said to be working. Has built-in batteries, and you can always charge it from your car – ideal tool to take with you. The special transponders are cheap enough to save you a lot of money compared to the RW4, and the main unit costs only $400, the JMD Key box around $250, and the G-chip authorization (if not included) $80, always with free shipping.

They stopped selling the JMDD, JMD46, JMD48 chips, instead of ’em you can buy Blue or Red King Chips. The blue one is for everything except ID48 for the usual price, the red is for ID48 much expensive.

They look very, very similar. The distinctive feature of the Foxwell is recording data for playback later, which could be useful for an intermittent fault you can’t always reproduce when diagnosing problems.

My Ancel AD310 has worked on every US compliant OBD 2 protocol capable vehicle 1996 and later that Ive tried. Its like $35 USD on Amazon. 1999 Volvo S80 2.9 I6, 1996 GMC Yukon GT 5.7 Vortec V8, 2001 Buick Regal LS 3.8 V6, 2005 Saab 9-5 Aero 2.3 Turbo, 2006 Saab 9-3 Sportcombi 2.0T B207R, 2004 Volvo S40 2.4i I5, 2009 BMW 128i 3.0 I6, 2011 Subaru Outback 3.6R H6, 2007 BMW Z4 3.0 Si I6, 2015 BMW F Gen 328xi 2.0 Turbo I4, 2016 Volvo S60 T5 AWD 2.5 I5. A Actron CP9680 works on OBDII. It’s well-lit! The screen is large. It reads live, record, graphing, transmission codes, oxygen sensor codes, emissions readiness test, ABS, SRS, and MORE! It has code-connect to diagnose codes. It uses 4 aaa batteries under the rear cover. EBAY has it. A Snap on scanner tests OBDI and OBDII. Get the primary and troubleshooter cartridges. Get the adaptor. Get the battery pak and cable. Get the manuals. It uses a 9volt square battery under the cover on the left. OBDII uses personality keys for the OBDII adaptor. K2A is for Ford. K13 is for G.M. EBAY has it.

Torque and ELM327 adapter:

Tried all Bluetooth adapters with Torque, and it’s a good app for basic scanning or if you’re interested in finding community-developed plugins. You can sometimes find a plugin for Torque that will give you access to vehicle-specific stuff, but it’s not plug-and-play like Bluedriver. The Carista adapter is probably the best buy in ELM327 adapters, but Torque works well with every adapter we tried.

I own the blue driver and can say it’s worth the money

BlueDriver and Carista:

I kept both the BlueDriver and the Carista adapter to have around. I’m comfortable tweaking app settings and things like virtual dashboards are more valuable to me than simplicity. If I were a pro mechanic I’d want something more complete, but BlueDriver covers all the systems I need to see and the Carista adapter works with all the other apps I want to use.

Bluedriver:

I’ve owned my Bluedriver device for a couple years now, and it’s saved me a couple thousand dollars in that time..Love it!

Bluetooth scanner:

I have yet to find a Bluetooth scanner out of the 3 I have tried that will work on Toyota or Subaru myself all the ones I trade are off the shelf ones that you can get from auto parts stores except for one I ordered off of uobdii.com it did not connect up to my Subaru at all I did not have I toiled at the time and it absolutely will loved my roommates 2004 Explorer sport trac.

This scanner does exactly what I expect it to do. I can get the fault code myself, search for them on the internet and find an explanation of the code to determine if I can fix it myself or fix it by a professional.
I use it to read and erase the fault code, works well. This is a good diagnostic tool that save me a lot of time and money, to check for vehicle failures and pay for repairs.

Great for most makes:

Tried and tested I swapped a dash over real easy. I think is a great bit of kit for mileage correction key coding, injector coding, cluster change, radio decoding infact great for most anything on just about any make.

IMMO 4 and 5 key programming working:

I’ve tested on 2012 Scirocco 2.0 TSi and 2014 Audi A5 2.0T.

Overall it is good value for money. Not as good as OBDSTAR X300 DP Plus pad for keys and odometer but has many better functions like programming and calibrations.

Work well with Honda HDS

When should you do DPF forced regeneration on Honda:

When you are in degraded mode or with the message “Check system”, or if like me, you regenerations too close and you want to limit the damage before it is too late.

Small extra info before starting:

– Make sure you have a PC laptop preferably holding the charge for use 1H or desktop PC on UPS to avoid power cut during the operation.

– The operation takes about 30min. So either you stay in the car while time is still on or off with the PC: not to go back in the car during the regeneration, avoids interactions with it to avoid problems.

– If you use an adapter Com (232) -> USB, verify that the com port is set to COM1. The interface does not work on another COM port!

– Check the oil level before and after regen. If after regen, the oil level is too high or if it stinks diesel will require draining.

– Disable the energy saving usb, antivirus, internet and all that can use PC resources.

How to use Honda HIM for DPF forced regeneration:

On this, I appeal to my memory, because I was a bit stressed during the manip and I also fear that my PC crashes battery.

Let’s go:

1) Make a nice little tricks with the car to make the 76 ° or at least not too far

2) Put themselves in a place where noise motors can interfere people and nothing can come under the car. (The DPF rises above 600 ° C)

3) Open the hood

4) Disable all that pump energy (ceiling, etc …) and especially not fun to reactivate during operation.

5) Connect the HIM to the car and the computer.

6) Start the HDS

7) Turn the ignition on II

8) In Honda HDS, press the “Select a new vehicle” and enter the mileage.

9) Select “System”

10) Select “Diesel”

11) Check and delete the DTC menu “DTC – given frozen”. The HDS warn you it is absolutely necessary to remove them before operation and also check the various sensors of the DPF, so if you have a problem with sensors, do not bother going any further.

12) and go back to “Settings”

13) Select “DPF Regeneration”

14) Put the engine running, turn on the lights and put on the air conditioner ON

15) If the engine is not the right temp, the HDS asked to accelerate between 1600 and 2400trs/min

16) When the temp is reached, the HDS takes over, release the accelerator.

17) Allow the Honda HDS to regeneration. The engine mounts alone at 3000trs/min during regeneration, it is stagnant at 1500 trs/min. At the end of the regeneration scheme dates back to 3000 trs/min to cool the exhaust line (weird, but it is like here)

19) When the regeneration is complete, leave the HDS, turn off the engine, remove the cables from HIM and go for a ride to make sure the cooling line.

How do you use the keygen:

This is the method you can try:

Make sure PIWIS is closed.  If it is open, right-click the Taskbar, and run Task Manager.  Select co.porsche.piwis.shell and End Task.

Click Start (WinKey) and type services.msc in the search box. Run services.msc. If the service is running, stop it.

If the Keygen is on the laptop, run it, and leave it open.

Run a Command Prompt.
At the Command Prompt, type:
WMIC BIOS GET SERIALNUMBER

Enter the Serial Number into the Keygen.
Enter the Country into the Keygen.
Change the Expiry Date to 01/01/2030.
The Dealer number is not important, but you can enter one if you know it (7 digit number).
Leave the Challenge Key blank for now.

Click Start (WinKey) and type services.msc in the search box.  Run services.msc
Change the AdminService startup to Automatic, and click Apply.
Click Start to start the service.

Run Piwis3.
Go to the Imprint section.
Enter 4 random digits into the Licence key boxes.
Tick the Accept box, and click License Update – it will say Not Valid – click OK.
Click Licence update twice more and OK.
The Request Key should have disappeared, and the Create Key button should be active – click it.
Place the mouse pointer at the bottom of the screen, and open the Keygen.
Enter the Request Key into the Challenge Key box, and click Generate.
Enter the licence key shown into the boxes on Piwis.  Tick the Accept box and click Licence update.
If successful, you should get a message to reboot.  Click OK, and the computer will shut down.

IMPORTANT!!

After starting the computer, open services.msc again.
Stop AdminService, set startup to Disabled.  You can now run Piwis.

You can also get the serial number by printing out the imprint request.
The snag with that is if you are imprinting a VM, it does not show the complete number.

Win7 setup instruction, activation and Scania VCI3 update:

1.Setup Adobe reader 9.2

2.Setup NET 2015

3.Setup SDP3 2.39.1

4.Copy the folder “sdp FIX” and paste it on the desktop.

5.Right click on “Prerequisites” and select “run as administrator“.

6.Reboot PC.

7.Check the computer system is win7 32bit.

8.Open the folder “SDP FIX” then right click on “x32” and select “Run as administrator”.

9.Device driver software installed successfully.

10.Right click to open “Hardware ID reader”.

11.Please send the dealer with ID for activation SDP3 2.39.1.

12.Receive an activation file, right click on this file and select “Merge”, then click on “Yes” to go on.

Setp1 : Login registration website http://download.znjskj.com/en/Register.aspx Input serial

number(see the nameplate) and registration password ( display when you start up device,), then click next.

Setp2: Enter your name, mailbox and set your password(this password is used for license

activate and SW upgrade in future), then click Submit.

The following shows fill in the registration information successfully

Setp3: Read SD card by windows laptop. Open the “tools” folder in SD card.

Setp4 : Click “Upgrade Tool” to open it.

Fill the product serial number and Password. (Password is the password be set when

What is a VVDI2 programmer?

VVDI2 is an auto key programmer with good rates (9/10), esp for VAG and BMW key making.

What is a FEM test platform?

With the test platform, you can do it on the car directly. It will take less time. A little bit more work to do, though.

That is the reason why you should have it.

It can be used with a lot of key programmers such as VVDI2, Yanhua BMW-FEM programmer, BMW Explorer, CGDI BMW, etc

How to use VVDI2 + FEM test platform for FEM key making:

First, you must have a vvdi2 full version or vvdi2 basic version with FEM/BDC authorization enabled

If not, you will get an error below and fail to add a FEW key

Then connect FEM and the test platform and VVDI2

(put the key marked with red on the coil)

VVDI2 learns a FEM/BDC key with 3 steps done

step 1: get key info

step 2: program the FEM/BDC system

step 3: prepare the dealer key with the ignition witch

VVDI2 programs a FEM/BDC key with 5 steps

step 1:

1. read FEM/BDC coding via OBDII or on the bench
2. you’d better not close this window after starting this procedure

step 2:

1. open FEM/BDC shell, find out where the 95128/95256 chip is, read EEPROM dump via BDM programmer
2. load original EEPROM dump and save special EEPROM dump, write special EEPROM dump back to the 95128/95256 chip
3. restore FEM/BDC shell, provide -12v and connect it via OBD

step 3:

1. this operation requires connecting FEM/BDC on the bench, and make sure you finish step 1 ans step 2
2. provide +12v to FEM.BDC and connect it via OBD

step 4:

1. open FEM/BDC shell, write original EEPROM dump (read step 2) back to the 95128/95256 chip
2. restore FEM/BDC shell and connect it via OBD

step 5:

loading coding file (read step 1), write to FEM/BDC via OBDII, finish FEM/BDC programming

Attention please!!!

– You can directly backup/restore coding

– You have to pre-setup the FEM/BDC module before deleting/adding keys or resetting keys

– You’ll be told other tools need to be used first to program the FEM/BDC system, then setup FEM/BDC via VVDI2. It happens when you do FEM/BDC key learning, and you don’t have a working software version

– You’d better not close the VVDI2 interface when you pre-setup FEM/BDC

– You need do with 95128(FEM) or 95256(BDC) chip when pre-setup FEM/BDC

Note: there are two 8-pin chips; do not disassemble the wrong chip; better refer to the wiring diagram

– You must restore original EEPROM data, restore coding when pre-setup FEM/BDC. If you fail to restore coding or the remote cannot start or something wrong with the window (or other failures probably) after coding restore and FEM/BDC installation, please use other tools to do re-coding FEM/BDC

– Ask tech support @uobdii.com for help, if the replay sounds continuously after supplying power to the FEM/BDC. Usually, it needs programming.
