I received tool 2 days ago, tested so far with E61 and F10 2013, in terms of km reset, codings its all like original, it fails in ISN reading on F series as this fields are blanked off, id read isn from edc16c35 short one fine, sometime it drop dongle errors, but overall tool is worth spending that sum of money, just to do coding E/F series and km resets on its own, i would not risk to do FEM/CAS key. Will try and update my post in a week or so about keys, as might have a go on mine just for feedback, I compared all functions to my genuine interface which is basic plus few licenses not full like the clone one.

I have done quite a lot of cas 2, 3, 3+ 3+ downgraded and then restored to ori no problem, please always use battery support, all these bad reviews and cries for flash are caused by brave people trying to flash them without stable voltage, there is cas flash no on the top of the window, which you can note just in case some problems occur, then you can find for the right flash fine even if it was updated by ista/p in the past.

Good to know: VVDI2 PassThru J2534 Configuration software supports Third–Party software to connect to VVDI2 for communication. Third Party software should support SAE J2534 function. Ordered Yanhua Mini ACDP full package, I thought the package missed 4 adapters used for electrical bridge connection, I ordered before and the 4 adapters are contained. Then I contacted uobdii.com and was told the 4 adapters are canceled because they don’t need the electric bridge any more.

Just be careful on adding the key as it’s keyless and if you turn off the ignition at the wrong time or anything else goes wrong dealer tool will be needed

Tip of “the careful”: Just when you get a generated key sorted and go into ADD KEY follow what it says carefully, does also give you warning on vvdi2

Today I’ll show you how to use Julie Emulatorto do IMMO OFF in Bosch ME7.4.5 ECU installed in 2007 Peugeot 307 with 1.6 gasoline engine and 109 horsepower.

Let’s find out if the car is starting up correctly.

Now I’m going to simulated a damaged key. I’ll block the mode transponder signal.

As you can see, the start is working but the engine doesn’t start up.

Let’s take out the ECU, it’s located by the battery.

Connect the ECU on the table to check if the emulator is working correctly.

Following the pinout.

Now carefully open the ECU box.

This ECU is equipped with a 95 328 form memory.

Mark the location of the 1st memory LEG, you have to unsolder it and read its counter.

Clean the soldering pads from the remainders.

Using an adapter to read the program with a programmer. Pay attention to the location of the 1st memory leg.

Using the programmer to change the following values in memory content.

Solder the memory back in the ECU.

Solder the jump from 1-2-3-4-5-6 on Julie IMMO Emulator, using a soldering iron and tan.

Connect the wires, power, ground, CAN-H, CAN-L.

And connect the Emulator.

Connect the ECU back into the car, connect it on the table, and turn the ignition on.

The Blue LED means the emulator has successfully correct self-adjustment.

A notice that the key is still wrapped, the car starts and works correctly.

Later on they released updated version and they added Audi, some VW, some Volvo, PSA pin codes and others. Ford was till under free functions. Today we can see Ford now also need to pay so Lonsdor please make up your mind!

And if you expect full support and 100% working functions (even though you paid for them) then well… You will be surprised because those payable functions not working 100%

Q: Use another programmer no need any cut wire. This is for me better work…. Or use witt VVDI ISP eeprom adapter. Work as professional…

A: if not cut the wires the cpu will wake up..and blocking the SPI bus bcose the SPI protocols only one master interface allowed and in this case the programmer MUST be the master not the CPU. You can halt the cpu thru the reset pin if you can reach it. On kline isn’t possible. But the reset pin it is the same side like the eeprom
The vvdi eeprom adapter working only if you physically see and able to connect to the eeprom. But you can’t bcose the it is on the pcb inner side. If you prefer to desolder or cut these pin rows and sockets on the picture is it’s your call. I choose the cutting. It’s fast and safe.

1). 2018 Volkswagen Jetta S (base) model…Confirmed working

2018 Volkswagen Jetta S (base) model. We wish to be able to check systems, reset service reminders, clear codes and analyze systems. We also wish to change the coding in the ABS module to activate the ASR on/off function (activated from the factory in other trim levels but not in S model).

Please note that the 2018 Jetta is the last year of the Mark Six generation of the Jetta, so it should be mostly the same as the 2017 and 2016 and 2015 and 2014 and 2013 and 2012 and 2011 Jetta cars.

2) 2016 Subaru Crosstrek Premium…Confirmed working

2019 Porsche Cayman GTS (982) …Confirmed working

2019 Porsche Cayman GTS (982). We wish to be able to check systems, reset service reminders, clear codes and analyze systems. I recently had the driver’s seat out of the car to make modifications and when I put the seat back in the car I forgot to reconnect wiring harness. So the SRS airbag warning light is on constantly (I did reconnect the wiring harness). I need to be able to clear the trouble code for the SRS airbag system.

The 982 Cayman and Boxster were introduced in 2017. So the 2017, 2018 and 2019 982 Caymans and Boxsters are all largely the same.

To judge if the button battery good or not, you can use a tool to read out the voltage and better this tool can display the battery power is fully charged or not, this tool must be CK360 Easy Check.

Here we go.

Prepare:

One piece of CK360 Easy Check remote control tester

3 pieces of button batteries

Button battery voltage

Put the first one button battery on the CK360 tester, read out the voltage 3.26V, with fully charged.

Change the 2nd button battery on the CK360 tester, voltage is 3.26V, with normal battery.

Change the third button battery on the CK360 tester, voltage is 0.45V, without battery capacity signal. That means this battery is bad and should be throw away.

Purpose: Add new keys

Key programming tool:

AVDI: my AVDI Ford paid software 2000$ and it doesn’t work perfect!

Lonsdor K518ise: It’s a paid function also. Upgrading to successful key learning is all fine!

Note: only Chinese Ford is under free functions.

Other Ford now needs to pay, incl. Ford made in Europe, India, South America, Australia, Africa, Israel

In Lonsdor K518ise programmer: select immobilizer – FORD – Europe – Transit Custom – 2014-

Go to add new keys: immobilizer – add keys

Pls switch ignition ON

Lonsdor read out vin code and current keys count: 2

Pls make sure the key (to be programmed) has been inserted and turned ignition ON

Current key count: 3

K518 programmed a new key successfully

Pls turn ignition ON- OFF for 10 times

Tested the new key programmed by K518

Worked perfectly!

Result: Lonsdor k518 had a good success with 2016 Ford Transit Custom

In this CGDI MB Prog programmer instruction,UOBD2 will show you how to use CGDI MB programmer to add new keys for old Mercedes Benz W202 W208 W210 kline 38 pin car from 1997-1998.

Procedures:

Step 1:Calculate Password

Connect CGDI MB Programmer to vehicle and your laptop,then run CGDI MB software.

Select [EIS] menu,then click [Read EIS Data]

Go to [Compute Password] menu,then [Copy key with key][–>Collect Data]

Select key type:Other keys,click [OK] to continue

Please insert the key into EIS and click [OK] to continue

This is a -Kline EIS,the operation is different from the ordinary EIS,please follow the prompts to operate,to prevent the code!

Please insert the key into the CGDI MB device and click [OK] to continue

Wait until it prompt you to insert the key into EIS and click [OK]

It will ask you to wait several seconds

Then prompt you to make sure the key to the ON position and light the instrument?If you can’t,please pull out the key and try again,until you can normally twist and light the instrument and then click [OK]

Please insert the key into the CGDI MB device and click OK

Now you need to insert the key into ESI again,then click [OK]

Perform it again,click OK

Insert the key into the CGDI device,then click [OK] to continue

If it prompt yo with same operation instruction,just follow it.

Insert the car key into the EIS 10s and dial out

Please insert the key into the EIS again and click OK

Pull out the key for 5 seconds,then insert the EIS,then click OK

Please insert the key into the CGDI MB Benz device again and click [OK]

Please pull the key out and then insert intot he EIS!The following operation may be repeated several times.

Please pull out the key

Please insert the key into the EIS again and click OK

…..

Now save the generated files

Save the file successfully,please upload the data to calculate PASSWORD

Click [Upload Data],then upload the file you saved just now

Upload data successfully,please click the [Query Result] button to query.

Click [Query Result],it will take you several minute to query result

Computing success!Click [OK] to continue

Here we get password,click [Copy] button,then select [EIS] menu

Click [Paste] button to paste password,then click [Save EIS Data]

Step 2:Generate Key File

After saving EIS data successfully,select [Generate EE] menu

Select key file format “V051”,then click [Load EIS File] you saved just now

Click [Generate Key File]

Now,save the key file generated

Step 3:Program New Key

Insert the new key into CGDI MB device

Select [Read/Write Key] menu,then click [Read Key/Chip] button

Click [Open/Write]

And it prompt you to choose key type format:41 format and 51 format,click [OK] to continue

Select a key file to write

Write success!Click [OK] to continue

Test new key on vehicle,it can light instrument and start the engine!

Done!

Test 1: VVDI-MB read W164 EIS data without W164 gateway adapter

Result: Failed!

Can’t start communication with EIS, check connector

Test 2: VVDI-MB read W164 EIS data with W164 gateway adapter

Result: Success!

VVDI MB Tool read data successfully! EIS is normal

Conclusion:

W164 gateway adapter is a must have for EIS read using VVDI Mercedes.

The adapter now can cover not only W164 but W209 W211.

2019 BMW FEM BDC test platform in Black color, 20usd cheaper than the silver version (released in 2018), helps make BMW FEM/BDC key on Bench easily.

Procedure:

Take out the 2019 BMW FEM BDC test platform from the box.

You can see, it comes with start switch, power switch, IMMO box light, dash light etc.

BMW FEM BDC test platform instruction is printed on the back.

When the platform is connected to the FEM or BDC, turn on the power switch to level 1 and the IMMO box light is on, indicating that the communication between the test platform and FEM or BDC is successfully.

After the IMMO box light is off, pres that start switch twice to turn on the ignition, the Dash light will be on, and then press or long press to start switch, and the dash light will be off.

Plug the CON7 and CON8 cable to the corresponding position of FEM or BDC box.

Put the BMW key into the coil.

Plug the DASH line to the dashboard.

Plug the power cable to the test platform.

Turn on “Power Switch” to level 1 and the IMMO box light is on.

After the IMMO box light is off, pres that start switch twice to turn on the ignition, the Dash light will be on, and then press or long press to start switch, and the dash light will be off.
