How-to’s of YH35XX programmer +Simulator program mileage for 35128WT EEPROM and VDO odometer?

1.Program mileage for F chassis with 35128WT EEPROM

 Need:

YH35XX programmer + Simulator

Yanhua Mini ACDP

How to:

Record the original car kilometers 4145km

Remove the dashboard, find out the position of chip 35128 and remove it, use Yanhua 35XX programmer to read out the chip data.

Use Yanhua 35XX Programmer to write the original car data into the simulator, and program the mileage. After complete, solder the simulator back to the chip position of the original car.

Use Yanhua Mini ACDP to reset the FEM /BDC module mileage to zero.

Install the dashboard back to the car to verify if the new mileage is adjusted successfully, the new value is 14KM.

2.Program mileage for G chassis VDO 

Need:

YH35XX programmer + Simulator

Yanhua MB CAN Filter

How to:

Record the old mileage value i.e 53693km

Remove the dashboard, find out the position of 35128 chip and remove it, use Yanhua 35XX programmer to read out the chip data.

Use Yanhua 35XX programmer to write the original car’s data into the simulating chip, and program the mileage, after mileage programming complete, weld the simulating chip back to the car.

Install Yanhua MB CAN Filter on the dashboard, the wiring diagram is shown as bellow.

Install back the dashboard and verify if the mileage programming is adjusted successfully, the new value is 37253km

Job is done.

make sounds, please check if the position is right(as shown below).

2)Detect IMMO

Connect remote key with remote connector, Put KH100’s antenna close to key

identification coil, and use key to turn ignition ON. When KH100 buzzer beeps, it means

signal is detected.

8.Remote Frequency

Enter this menu, put remote control at the device’s induction area to detect remote

frequency.

9.Special function

Include: detect infrared signal, unlock Toyota smart key,

once. When the light on KH100’s screen is on, it indicates there is infrared signal,

otherwise there is no signal(see below pic).

Well from my experience, mini key tool will do a quicker and better job then the key tool. The mini will NOT renew remote for what I understand. I bought the mini recently as I wanted to do a ID 48 for VW and online, since offline can damage the original remote. I notice the activation would cost $250, and the mini was at $139-150. With free activation and 1 year tokens. So now have both.

well 1 job pays for itself. Actually have 2 key tools and 1 mini, if a new one comes out that does something totally new, I’ll probably buy it. 1 or 2 jobs pays for itself. I don’t know if you was able to do SPS Programming in Opel cars too ( if I remember well you said that you did it ) but the issue is that the SPS Programming do not communicate with the car

Review 1:

i have alot of each tool from both manufacturers , and prefer one over the other on different tools , i have 3 of each tool from each manufacturer on the van and alot more of each in workshop , on some both are on par , on some i find 1 is better and on another the other is better for me , ive good and bad tools from both as happens in most large scale manufacturer .

i was never a fan of the all black tools , they were originally made for a specific customer group , the process of blackening th the pick arms did make the pick tips on some brittle on some and not on others , they improve significantly when they kept the black bodies and reverted to the silver pick arms , these are far more robust than the full black tools with black pick arms.

i use both and have done development work for both , so would never advise one over the other , both do the job.

what i do know is the market is to blame for todays tool , the demand for mass production and cheaper tools especially cheaper tools is at the heart of quality issues , i remember when these tools were £125 plus vat each , and they were excellent and as lower demand were far higher quality , most of my original 1st generation tools are still in use daily on my van , anyone who believes they will get the same tool for £30 that was once £125 is misguided , of course corners get cut to bring the cheap price people demand , which is in my opinion a real shame , also a huge reason why development and new tools are few and far between now , as no profit in development . the saving grace is that 1 job pays for the tool so payback is quick , though a tool that is dearer and pays back many times over many years is a far better buy in my opinion and cheaper in the long term , though i guess with less actual tradesmen these days theres less demand for quality precision tools as cheap rules the day.

Review 2:

I’ve bought all my Lishi tools (around 50pcs now), some are clone, but most are original like advertised by seller.

All lishi used until now work good (pick decode OK) VA2T, VAC102, NE72, HU101, HU83, NSN11, HYN11, VA6, SIP22.

The only lock i have problem (pick decode OK) but key cutted doesn’t turn is C4 2012 VA2T.

Analysis:

it makes no difference if the lock is VA2 or VA6 , the va2 should pick both , it just won’t decode the va6 lock , however if an older gen1 va2 tool it won’t get full insertion into some of the locks without a shoulder modification , good examples are berlingo and partner and ds3 , thus the gen2 va2 tool was made with the shoulder modification to get these too. but for picking it shouldn’t make a difference which tool is used , both will pick it but only the correct tool will decode it.

Finally:

My VA2T V.2 pick well and read all wafers on every height, i also use this VA2T to pick, decode n cut blade Peugeot 301 2014 OK first time.

VA6 4 lifters, pick OK, decode not, wafers height are out the grid. Tried cut some blade, no one can complete enter inside the lock.

I also pick Ignition lock, decode with VA2, VA6 all the same code as door lock. Different with door is: All wafers need pick down.

The most important when working with any hands tools is experience.

Review 3:

It wasn’t the pick arms that broke Rapid it’s cage part at the tips they are very brittle and you would think the material used was a cheap die cast. I’d gladly pay the extra for a stronger tool.

I’ve also went for the likes of Mr.Li Vauxhall pick as it’s an 8 lifter on it rather than Lishi 10. If tool is a bit shorter hopefully it will be a bit stronger also a bit easier to use, decode etc as you haven’t got 9 & 10 to worry about. also ordered a VA2 hopefully it’s a 6 rather than an 8 as pictures weren’t great at time of order.

I can understand the extra 2 lifters as manufacturers are trying to cover as many models as possible but personally if picking a 6 cut I’d prefer a 6 lifter not an 8 or an 8 instead of a 10.

I’ve worked with tools before that go through the blackened process and there’s no doubt it can weaken them. Hopefully Mr.Li picks, at least on certain locks are made of stronger stuff.

Suggestion:

if you bought the 10 cut HU100 tool then you purchased the wrong tool for vauxhall , although it will still pick the 8 cut the decode will be sloppy , the 10 cut is for usa and usa imports and is used on various models including the silverado , so the 8 cut is for vauxhall and the 10 cut is for chevrolet amongst others , you have bought the wrong tool if for vauxhall though the 10 cut has its uses on some ignitions. ok VA2 , the 8 cut was first made on the VA8 tool to be used on the later 8 cut toyota and 7 cut daf cf series vehicles , they were asked for a single lift version for picking the daf cf series and new toyota , thus they released the 8 cut va2 for this purpose , all va2 you will see on ic card 1049 will be 6 cut you wont see a va2 8 cut lock in uk, but the 8 cut tool will pick the daf cf series and the late toyota ignitions for which it was made for.
its a matter of you have selected or been sent the wrong tools.
for HU100 both manufacturers make the 8 and the 10 cut versions , even though with a bit of knowledge and understanding of the key series the 10 cut can still be picked and decoded with the 8 cut tool. but the point is both manufacturers make both tools for different locks.
same with VA2 , you needed to select the 6 cut tool and not the 8 cut tool at point of purchase as both really for different jobs.

Point of view:

Bought a dozen or so picks when first started out so starting to realize some distributors either don’t do they’re homework or don’t care as long as they sell the tool. Some give a list of models covered and some just a key number like HU83. Its only when you start using the picks you realize how inaccurate sales descriptions really are. For example the company I bought Vauxhall pick from only sold a 10 cut tool and listed all models covered so I thought at the time this must be the only tool for Vauxhall I see now how wrong I was and how in accurate the sales side is. Getting into it now like it when you manage to pick a lock reasonably quick and decode then the client thinks your some sort of magician and stands scratching their head as they’re pulling the cash out

Fact:

they are not telling lies , the 10 cut will pick all the 8 cut locks too , you just need to take care decoding as pick must remain square throughout the decode or it miss reads.

Further discussion on picking and coding VA2:

i could say alot about both brands but i wont as not ethical i love them both , they were once 1 brand together for many years.

it can work both ways , you can buy the 8 cut then get called to a silverado import ( ive done 2 so far) and wish you had the 10 cut especially if ignition differs to the door , same with VA2 8 cut if you get called to open a daf cf series truck after 2013 you will wish you had the 8 cut , the first one i did was pre this tool being made , it took some head scratching , trial and error and patience to figure out how to defeat it with the 6 cut tool .
sods law is alive and well , you can almost guarantee if you dont have the tool then you will find yourself in the situation where you need it , may be murphys law over there.

i think following the last stock take i have near on 900 lishi tools over both manufacturers, many adapted by file to work differently , by far the best quality tools were the very first ones made in the early years when they worked together , i suspect these will still be working long after the newer ones have passed away.

they should never all pick down , is it same in ignition and door , all picking down ? if the case it sounds like someone has stripped the lock and replaced the wafers wrong or an aftermarket lock , on that year it should be va2 and not va6 , but you shopuld still have 4 wafers one side in positions 1245 and 2 wafers the other side in positions 3 and 6 . all of the cut to code machines will be cutting the key with the cuts as they should be , 4 1 side and 2 the other which will not work if all wafers are in same direction
what decode are you getting with the VA2 abcdef tool from bow to tip

My tool is Kess 5.017 EU clone with red PCB. Did already so many cars successfully.

only problem is on getting ID -> have to switch many times the ingnition on off. Then I get an error, that ID can’t be read. And after pressing OK it is showing the whole ID and I can save it.

Today I try to read with kess VW Golf 1.6 tdi pcr 2.1 via OBD and I read it.
ON id it says it locket, but I read it without problem.
But when I select to read eeprom, it cant.
I didn’t try option to unlock ecu.
Here is the picture where I am read with kess.
Later i read file with winOls to see structure, and I think that is all ok.

Several months ago,UOBD2 share a post on PSA Diagbox 9.12 Download Free + How to Install,and now new version is 9.23.So here comes the experiences share by our customers on how to install Diagbox 9.23 on Window XP,Window 7 and Window 10 32 bit and 64 bit.

Windows 7:

1.it seems to me that it works in 32 bit, at least I use it on windows 7 32bits and I have no worries

2.hello, we will repeat diagbox included pp2000 / lexia which are the old soft Peugeot / Citroën  and which works only on a windows 32 bits not of various
diagbox new soft vehicle after + – 2007 (works on 32/64 bits) lexia / pp2000 old soft before + -2007 (only 32 bits).
for the installation of diagbox began with the 7.01 then have the maj following in …… diagbox 9.23 (of MRRorry) works with windows 32/64 bits and lexia pp2000

3.I took two pc one with V7.57 in 7 32BITS and the other V9.23 rorry 7 64BITS;

4.win7 32 works with all that is diagbox  the xp is imperative for pp2000 and lexia (except diagbox)

5.It takes a 32bits OS for your vci to work because the drivers only exist in 32bits.

Diagbox Windows 7 install:

Windows 10:

1. I managed to install XP PRO SP3 32 BITS in Dual Boot with W10 pro 64 bits

2. I have Windows 10 64 I start at 7.01, I can go until 7.57 after that does not happen anymore

3. on the windows 10 64 bits, diagbox will work but not pp2000 / lexia which they only works on a 32-bit windows (no 64-bit drivers).
so you can diagnose vehicles that works with diagbox after + – 2007

4.I give up impossible to exceed 7.57, I saw that there were newer versions but had to relieve the Paypal account, I bought this OBD tool on a whim when surfing Ebay, I do not never used it, the only time I wanted to hook, I ended up going to the garage .What software version should I take to use on the 2005 C3 1.4 HDI and also a Peugeot traveler of 2017, (operating system W 10 PRO 64 B) from what I understood I will use that diagbox, the other software sweat the CD I did not know how to install them.

5. slt takes that of mr rorry version 9.23 it runs on w10 32 and 64 bit and is recent vehicle

6. I diagbox works flawlessly in 7.57 with W10 64 BITS

7.I tried to recover the driver that is in C: \ Windows \ System32 \ DriverStore \ FileRepository, but I can not find, the complete file weighs 750 MB, it will be difficult to send it to you.
Try to go into CD1 / Setup drivers box and run the executable (interface only and then interface connected to the vehicle)

For my part I just received my SSD I tried to install XP SP3 and W 10 64 Pro 64.

Windows XP:

1.V7. 57 and the same from 7.02 to 7.57, whereas under xp my vci is very well recognized with the firm nlc and up to date in 4.3.0

2.win xp pack 3 it’s good

3. Lexia and Diagbox version 7.02, for this version xp is enough. I think Lexia does not work with Windaube 10×64 ….

Step by step procedure on how to install SDD V157 on Win7 for Jaguar Land rover diagnosis. SDD V157 can access to chassis, power train, electrical, body etc. systems by working together with SVCI DoIP.

SDD is configuring your new software installation.

Install MOXA UPort 1110/1130/1150 Windows Driver Ver1.6 on your computer.

Click “Next”, then “Install”, then complete.

SDD is configuring your new software installation, it will take several minutes.

InstallShield Wizard complete.

Restart the computer.

Back to DVD, right click on “SVCI DoIP D-PDU and Passthru Driver Set…”

Choose “Run as administrator”.

Select Language (English and Chinese only)

Click on “Next”;

Click on “Next”;

Click on “Next”;

Click on “Install”;

Click on “Finish”, complete the SVCI D-PDU and Passthru Driver Setup Wizard.

Plug SVCI DoIP cable into the computer, wait until the device is ready to use.

Right click on “Computer” – “Manage” – “Device Manager” and if you can see “COM5” , that means SVCI DoIP cable has established a good communication with the computer.

Right click on “JLR SDD” and choose “Run as administrator“.

Launching SDD.

Continue.

Continue (SVCI DoIP cable is allowed to connect network connection)

Enter dealer information.

Click on “Continue“, you can notice “Device Connected“.

Click on “AutoVIN Read“.

High line instrument cluster.

Click on “Diagnosis“.

Choose “System” (SVCI DoIP can access to Land Rover L319 Chassis, Powertrain, Electrical, Body etc).

View DTCs for PCM module.

Market specification.

Loading recommended Candidates.

DTCs by ECU.

As you can see SVCI DoIP JLR can also perform service Functions.
