Dear customers, before you use XPROG5.84, please uninstall all the software and USB drivers of the old version xprog-box on your computer and install the new XPROG5.84 software on the installation disc.！！！！！

Xprog M V5.84 setup on win7:

Extract “New 5.84 software”.

Click on “New 5.84 software”, then “5.84 AdbeRdr11000_mui_Std”, then “Setup”.

Install the Adobe Reader XI.

Read “See before use” txt.

Copy ” 5.84 registry” and paste it on the desktop.

Copy “English 5.84 Software” and paste it into the disk C:

Search “XprogDesktop” and send it on the desktop.

Click on “New XPProg” and send “Xpprog-BOX drive” on the desktop.

Save “Xpprog -box drive“, “5.84 registry” and “XprogDesk“, delete the other files into the cycle.

Now, it displays “Device driver software was not successfully installed”.

Right click on “Computer ” then “Manage”, then “Device manage”, then “XProg” and to “Update driver software“.

Browse for driver software on your computer.

Maybe you need to update the driver software again until the computer recognize the xprog 5.84 driver.

8.How to reset vvdi super chip xt27 transponder after use?

In the last step, I use VVDI Super Chip to clone ID46 transponder. Now I want to reset it back so I can reuse again.

First, insert the vvdi super chip into the coil of the VVDI Mini Key Tool.

Select “Special Functions” on my Xhorse APP.

Select “Set type of vvdi super transponder”, then “Reset VVDI Super chip”.

Reset OK.

=> You can’t use ddt4all to program a new key because the pin given by ddt4all is not right. You cannot access after sale mode and cannot add a key.

Using Renolink interface 1.49 from China: Succeed

I programmed few days ago a new key for my scenic 2 pH 2 using a Renolink interface 1.49, from China. You should first get the right pin then enter in after sale mode. Program all the keys and then validate.
You have to go to Misc/Key/ choose Uch scenic 2, then connect. If all is OK you can see and copy the pin.
Then return to the main soft and find the Uch ecu (uch_84_j84…) then go to after sale. Copy the pin in “code apv” and push “armer mode apres vente”. You can now program your keys.
For me it worked.

I got Volvo 2014D installed directly on an old hp laptop running win7 64bit. I’m still fighting through some compatibility issues, but making decent progress. Getting this software is the biggest PITA I have had in a while. Currently I’m trying to get it to play nice with the Microsoft .NET framework. I uninstalled 4.5.1 with the intention of replacing it with 4.0, and about the time that finished I read about a registry patch I could have done instead…(swearword).

As a humorous aside, When I was editing away the 2.7gb ram requirement for install I edited the EULA as well. The installer showed me this:

Update:

I plugged it into the car and I got a slow blinking green firmware status slight and a fast blinking orange vehicle comm light. The computer recognized the DICE device, but inside ViDA, no DICE. There is not even a dropdown menu at all under communication tool… just an empty white space:

I’m going to try to bump back to .NET 3.5, but if that fails, I guess I’ll have to clean install windows and try again.

Update:

CCM was stuck in nighttime mode, but about a minute of an LED maglight woke it up, lol.

Here are my photos, first one of victory over this b#@$*(^ of a software package, and the second is my car crying out for help. I’ll post up another thread for that, though.

Still stumped on the CCM calibration, and reeeeally nervous to try it again. I’m heading out for a road trip up the west coast to the Canadian border, so I’ll probably call around to all the dealerships I will drive past to see if someone will do the software update for less than the $240 the thiefs at Fresno Volvo wanted…

Victory!!

I seemed to have claimed a victory over my poorly performing CCM issue. It was stupid simple — recharge the system with R134a…WOW, what a difference! Before the compressor cycled some at idle, but now it is on 100% of the time.

Before the idle air temp was great at the left two vents, and hot on the passenger’s side. Now it’s about 68F all the way across with the fan on full, windows rolled down at 102F ambient. I can’t wait to see what she’ll do on the highway at 70mph!

My conclusions: the CCM calibration made it a lot better (maybe a 5 degree drop on the left side, but didn’t solve it. My theory is that the two zone HVAC routes the driver’s side of the airflow through the side of the evaporator closest to the refrigeration inlet. When undercharged, the smaller amount of liquid R134a fully evaporates by the time it hits the center of the core, leaving only conduction of heat through the tubing and the cool gas-phase R134a to cool the passenger’s side…Just a theory, I haven’t seen how the evaporator core is laid out in this car.

Either way, I’m ecstatic at the developments today. This system is a strange animal — usually when undercharged, you’ll see mediocre performance from all vents. On this one, you get Horrible performance at the PS vents, and good performance at the DS. Average the air temperature across all vents, and I’d have immediately known that the system was undercharged.

With that, I’m going to call it a day on car stuff.

How to use IDUTEX TS910 PRO to read & write Cummins CM2350 data successfully in step by step procedure.

Tools to use:

IDUTEX TS910 PRO full set ( tablet + VCI box).

USB cable

Jumper

Cummins CM2350

First introduce the jumper of the Cummins CM2350.

This is engine port.

This is OEM port.

Procedure:

Open IDUTEX TS910 PRO software

Tap “Vehicle Diagnosis”, then “ECU Programming”.

Tap “Flash Write Jumper”.

Find out the Cummins CM2350 jumper diagram.

Power cord is connected to pin 1 (by following the diagram).

Ground wire access to pin 73.

Ignition key line is connected to pin 5.

CANL line is connected to pin 22.

CANH line is connected to pin 46.

Jumper is completed.

Use the main cable to connect to the VCI, and connect to the IDUTEX TS910 tablet.

Use the power adapter to supply power to the Cummins CM2350

and the VCI.

Tap “Vehicle diagnosis”, then “ECU programming”, then “Cummins system”.

Tap ” Automatic Detection of Cummins Diesel Engine”.

View Cummins CM2350 information, tap “Confirm”.

Tap “Read computer board data”.

Tap “Confirm”.

Tap “Read”.

The system automatically backs up the data that needs to be written, tap “Confirm”.

Reading data in several seconds.

Tap “Confirm” to write the data.

Tap “Write computer board data”.

To program Rangerover KVM key when AKL, Mart tool is winner, such as mart tool program fk72 kvm, did on bj32 kvm for evoque, transponder programmer Jaguar/landrover 2015, 2015 Range rover that couldn’t be done with AVDI is not recognized, while Mart tool can do.

Car model: Rangerover evoque 2012

The customer has his 2 original keys, but don’t work anymore so I assume the keys were deleted and a new one programmed, because it was stolen and the customer now has it back.

Requirement:

The customer has asked me to program his original keys back to his car.

KVM programmer to use:

1.original vcm, using up to date SDD: failure

using SDD I cant program keys. I then bought a new KVM, I still cant program it. In configure new kvm, SDD asks to turn ignition on, this cant be done, it then says Failed. It wont go any further than that. I then bought another KVM, exactly the same, wont program.

I have original vcm, using up to date SDD with full rights as a independent. I have programmed 15 plus new kvm’s to rangerovers or landrovers and never had an issue. I always push the start button when it says turn ign on.

Advice 1:

If you go to specification screen does it show communication to RFA module? Also make sure you have battery support on and the headlights are on (if not this can result in no comms). If you wanted to program old keys you would first try the recover keys procedure. Let me know the answer to above.

Note. On the later Evoque MY14> it is common to get no comms on new RFA as it comes pre flashed for dual CAN and not multi CAN though this will not be an issue for your MY of vehicle.

Answer 1: Yeah is comms with RFA. It has 2 faults in as well, module not programmed and no keys programmed. I have my battery support on it as well, always when doing programming. I dont think the head lights were on. I tried with hazards on.
It also fails on the recover keys option in extras.

Advice 2: use a combination of skp900 and sdd

I dont think sdd can, we usually use a combination of skp900 and sdd, when it asks to turn ignition on, we disconnect mongoose cable and connect skp and force ignition on, once ignition is on, we connect mongoose cable back quickly and continue the process.

Real test: Mart tool KVM programmer is the best for its price

1. I did one last week. you will need some tools. cheap or any you can buy. so i had a car with all keys lost. and someone did try to add keys with skp900 and locked kvm. so had to buy a new kvm. and was a waste off money coz i did not use it. not that i couldnt. then i figure it out there was no need. i bought a very cheap tool from china and 4 keys. all cost 160 usd.

   the tool was Mart tool KVM programmer. cost like 70 usd
   i bought 4 keys coz i didnt know what frequency the car had so i bought 2x 315mhz and 2x 433mhz.
   opened the kvm and read with xprog. there are some videos on youtube and well explanation on china websites and even pinout for kvm. theu use vvdi prog. but xprog does the same job.

   you only need to add keys on kvm locked or not. you can add the 4 keys.

   first you add the first key on key number 3. it will generate 2 files, use those 2 files to add other key on key number 4 and continue doing so with other keys. once you have the last key added use generated file to write on kvm. and all you need is to put back kvm and use remote to unlock doors and smart key is working… on videos says mart tool program fk72 kvm. but i did on bj32 kvm for evoque.

   i also read the virgin kvm from the virgin kvm that i bought to save a backup.

   will share it.

i would advice to use old kvm and use mart tool to add keys even if kvm is locked. mart tool will even show you vin number. just compare it.

3.Don’t get too excited about the KVM issue.
2015 Range rover that couldn’t be done with AVDI is not recognized.
A tool called “Mart Tool” came out with the same thing a few weeks back.

4.I just check with dump from forum. VVDI recognize as well.
I have 2 types key: PCF7945 Hitag2 + PCF7953 Hitag Pro ( Hitag 2 already programmed with LR Sport 2010 without issue by Truecode)

1/ When i put Hitag2 7945 key and check key, VVDi cannot see the key

2/ When use 7953 Hitag Pro, VVDi detected and tell key not programmed with dump.

Now need test write key in real car to be sure if it work.

5.i never had to use vvdi2. To program range rover. Normally i use mart tool or jlr sdd

That means, if vvdi can do, so no need buying mart tool.

Yes mart-tool ok, but I can’t remember if it connects to server and need internet? otherwise there can be problem if server switched off.

Answer: Actually, it doesn’t use server or internet. its complete offline. very nice tool for its price. did test and got happy.

One user’s Feedback: Just heads up – do not upgrade Key Tool!!
I confirmed from few sources – they already stopped manufacturing of original Key Tool. I was stupid enough to upgrade to version 3.2.5. Originally tool was NA (North American) firmware, but with 3.2.5 firmware became GLOBAL. Some remotes are missing now (not on the list, and not in the XHORSE app either, so Mini Key tool is useless, I have it too). So if you’re happy with what you have – do not upgrade above version 3.2.2 or even lower! There’s no option to downgrade back to local (for example, North American) version – confirmed with some sales rep in China. “i am sorry that the GL version cannot be back. i confirmed with engineer” – was reply.
Very disappointed.
Until now it was best tool to use, new mini key tool just stupid toy with SOME features of Original Key Tool.

About GL version explanation
From different regions customer’s feedback, they also need some other regions remote options(like ME region they also need some SE and EU database options)
So from 2.3.5 firmware there is GL version(Global) for customers.

1GL version from old 3 regions include(EU ME SE), those 3 old regions will automatically change to GL version from 2.3.5 firmware.

2GL version will cover more remote options, will keep updating and adding more remotes (if you find any options missing compare to old region version, you can PM to uobdii.com, the Xhorse will update)

3GL version already released universal smart key generation options.

4If customer still prefer to keep old region version, just PM uobdii.com about your device SN, Xhorse will setting back for you.(GL or keep old region version).

This is for those who are looking for a way to update parts information ETKA 8.2.

I have ETKA in two computers and in one of them I’ve already screwed things up!

After having the update 1298 (for Audi and VW) installed you can update to 8.2 by going to C:\ETKA\PROG\Pakete82\ETKA_82_Install.exe.

With this update, things will be completely different and file migrations are going to be made.

The ETKA itself appears to have being moved to “C:\Program Files(x86)\LexCom\ETKA\PROGRAM”

The database appears to have being moved to “C:\ProgramData\LexCom\ETKA\Data”.

Dating back from ETKA 8.0 by mr.f33nix I used to launch ETKA from a desktop shortcut with the following destiny:

“C:\ETKA\PROG\EtStart.exe C:\ETKA\PROG\etka_vw.ini”

and upgrade the datebase with the desktop shortcut:
“C:\ETKA\PROG\ETKA Online-Update.exe”

Changing the ETKA shortcut to the new locations does nothing and the Online Updater is GONE!!!

Fortunately I have another computer with ETKA and I also have a backup of the C:\ETKA folder.

Don’t upgrade!!!

Let’s wait for instructions from the experts on how to update and have everything working, updates included!

Just don’t update to 8.2 and all works ok.

For now it’s the best to do, but eventually 8.2 will be “mandatory”.

I think that VW ETKA was always a “connected version”. Very functions are unavailable since we that use ETKA in our personal computers aren’t dealers. VIN search doesn’t work, etc etc…

It’s a fact that we are using an illegal copy of ETKA, but we can’t take economical benefits from that. I use ETKA to do my work before going to the dealer.

LexCom develops ETKA and I think that they have more things to do than apply anti-piracy measures in their software.

The update tool that I have goes directly to LexCom servers for the updates and they are allways downloaded. They could implement a system that only downloads when a valid ID is present but they just don’t care.

VAG group sells worldwide and force dealers in India, China or any other poor countries to be allways online is bad…

“-Sorry, internet connection is pretty bad here and the catalogue requires to be allways online, I can’t help you at the moment because our internet connection is offline…”

Relax, don’t spread false rumors and let’s wait. FOR NOW DON’T UPDATE! I have 8.2 in one of my computers and today I was able to start ETKA, I just can’t start the EPC.
