Connect OBDSTAR Key Master Plus(X300 DP Plus) to Ford F150 obd port

Select “Diag Program”

Select “IMMOBILISER” and select “Ford/LINCOLN”

Select “Ford/LINCOLN V32.43” and click “Enter” to continue

Select “Ford” and click “Enter”

Select “F150/F250”

Select “2015-2019”

Before NCS can be used a Profile must be loaded.

Select F1 to read vehicle data first.

The answer is 6HP EGS need to do module programming. Most 8HP EGS don’t need to do module programming.

Yanhua Mini ACDP doesn’t support module programming.

Key RT box connects to the computer via the USB cable.

If you renew the original key, use W001. Connect Key RT box with the original key.

If you have no the original key, you could use chip board to weld the chip.

Connect the Key RT box to renew by following the next wiring diagram (1).

Select the chip

1). Key renew window controls include: support model catalog, key appearance and wiring mode picture window.

Step 1. Plug OBDPROG Key RT to the computer using one USB cable, then connect Key RT power connector until the indicator light flashes red indicating Key RT successfully connected with PC.

Step 2. take one Kia V2 (PCF7953) Key.

Step 3. Open the Key RT software and find out Kia wiring diagram.

Exit the software.

Steps to update Condor mini plus firmware:

Step 1:

Unzip the Upgrade kit file after the file has been downloaded .

Step 2:

Run ‘Upgrade Kit.exe’ and connect the machine with the pc

Do not turn off the machine during update process

and also the upgrade kit software will be updated automatically

Step 3:

Open the file of ‘Driver’ from those decompressed files

and choose a relatively new driver to install

If the computer still can not recognize the machine after the installation of the driver, it is advisable to change to another driver.

If all the drivers fail, please contact your distributor or technical support from the manufacturer.

Step 4:

After the machine is successfully communicated with the computer, read the serial number, then select the XC-MINI PLUS and click to update.

Note: Please keep the machine connected to the computer by USB during the update.

There are 3 related questions and answers:

1st question:

I did two CAS 4 already with VVDI2 and seems to be funny. I found two issues:
One of them could not reset mileage despite say OK
Another one could not restore coding even with Autohex.
Eventually fixed everything but tooooo long.

Solution:

Do you recommend backing up coding with esys first? If you brick the CAS do you think esys could reflash it by obd?

2nd question:

Cas4 by obd2 is only for key learning.
Its safe because we do not need to write any memory (like mileage…)
Its just read mcu.
And make dealer key.
Like bmwexplorer

Solution:

The cas also needs to be preprocessed, if any error when preprocessing, it also has risk.

So it’s still better to make a backup first…

If you do backup than you don’t need downgrade it. You can generate keys with your backup files

Actually if you look in the pic it vvdi will flash mcu.

3rd question:

So basically this function is only for people with balls because usually you should make backup and if you do backup you can generate keys easier from backup dumps…

Before deciding to buy MB STAR C3, sdconnect c4 / SD C5, you need to answer a couple questions why you want a MUX/Diagnostics.

1. Do you just want to read and reset fault codesin your car?
2. Do you want to change configurations?
3. Do you want to purchase something now that you can use for any newer cars you may get?

If you only want to read and reset fault codes you do not need ANY MUX (C3/C4) at all!! You can just use a passthru cable for around $20 or get fancy and get a wireless passthru “cable”. There are limitations with what a passthru cable can do but not sure what. I only used it to read initial codes on a 2017 GLA 250 while I was waiting for my C4 to arrive. I used a Toyota MVCI Xhorse clone.

If you want more support capability than a passthru you only need a C3 MUX for your car and use XENTRY/DAS 11/2012 version (this is the last most thorough version compatible with C3 MUX)If you want to purchase a “future proof” mux that can read old and new cars then purchase a C4 MUX and use the latest XENTRY 2019 version. C3 MUX with 2012 DAS software can work up to 2011 W204 from my own experience.

There are different chipsets (better or cheaper clone copies) on the circuit boards in the C4 MUX so you have to be careful which you buy — many places may have just as good of quality mux but this is where I purchased mine with the better chips (verified once I received it), good packaging, fast shipping and communicated well prior to buying it

Recently, there is one sdconnect C4 Plus MUX, which is needed for some newer cars with DoIP protocol like W222, covering Benz cars from 1989 to 2019 year.

What make it difference is it is compatible with DTS Monaco and Vediamo.

C5 MUXs that are being sold are mostly FAKE — they are only C4 MUX with upgraded housings. You can mod a C4 for DoIP if needed. A true C5 is very expensive and has its own HDD.

You can get the software from cartechnology.co.uk for free and another great site is mhhauto.com but have to pay $25 to register — both sites are invaluable!! I have had to use information from both sites.

I myself went overboard and spent a bit on a Samsung 9 Pro laptop upgraded to a 1TB NvME SSD drive with Windows 10 that converts into a tablet that I use dedicated to my car diagnostic programs (325GB+ just in XENTRY/Vediamo/EPC/WIS/Starfinder/SDMedia) I use this wirelessly with a C4 MUX.

If you are not computer literate then by all means purchase a complete set with MUX and laptop with software preloaded. Anyhow hope this helps get you in the right direction but most users can get by with everything needed for only a few dollars using just a passthru cable.
